Jan 31st Blog

Oh man.
I don't think I can eat another cookie.

1.) I'm not really sure how the music industry can sell the product on the internet. I think they have a good idea with the whole, buying albums off of iTunes. But the problem is that the mass public refuses to purchase anything when you can get it for free.
or at least, I do. I don't know about other people, but my mentality with iTunes is like "why waste even 99 cents when I can get it for ABSOLUTELY FREE?!"

Just like Norway has made iTunes illgeal.
(see: http://www.buzzbums.com/buzz/norway-declares-itunes-illegal) !

2.) The digital divide, apparently, is the difference between the technologically hip countries like the US, lots of Eastern Europe and Japan and the third world countries like....Zimbabwe, Niger, Ethiopia uhm...Lithuania....Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia....
anyway. it's the difference between the savvy countries and the poor third world countries.
Besides economic status and access, there are other reasons such as government that keep countries from advancing technologically.
I was asking my parents the other day during dinner, why is it that we know of all these advancements from japan, like, in the cell phone advancement areas that are THREE YEARS ahead of anything that the U.S has? Why isn't that we just keep updated with them?
